Resolutions

The new year has only just started and I have already had my first challenge; the dreadful, soul destroying mock exams! Ok, slight exaggeration but they weren't exactly fun. Revising all day, thinking you then haven't done enough, so staying up fairly late to fit more in and then frustrating your household and friends with your worries and complaints that you are going to fail and how nervous you are. Sorry guys...
The thing is, I knew they were only mocks but I wanted to put a lot of work in so, that if, when I get the results, the reasons that I may not have hit my targets isn't going to be that I didn't revise enough; it may be that the method I used to revise didn't work etc.
However, the point of this post isn't to ramble on about exams.
This year, a lot of important stuff is happening: my GCSE's; shows, moving on to either college or sixth form and even seeing my friends go down different paths. These things are going to have a big impact on my life and although I don't really have any new year resolutions, I think that I need to go in to these situations with an open mind (whether this will actually happen is another thing).
I want to say that I need to start taking things as they come but I can't because I like to plan and be organised as my friends and family know. Although, I do hope that I can try to do that, at least a tiny bit.
I am very thankful to those of you that stick by me when I get too much, especially when I know most of you are going through the exact same things.

Apologies for the short post guys, but I felt like writing.
A happy and prosperous new year to you all!

All my love,

Dotty
